B.Sc. (Home Science)

B.Sc Home Science is a 3 year full-time undergraduate course which deals with the management and economics of maintaining home and surrounding. B.Sc. Home Science brings about the opportunity for aspirants to get a deeper insight into the workings and management of houses and community. Being a branch related to both Science and Arts it includes many disciplines like chemistry, physics, physiology, biology,  hygiene,  economics,   rural  development,  child  development,  sociology  and  family  relations,  community  living, art, food, nutrition, clothing, textiles and home management. B.Sc. in Home Science provides an excellent platform for candidates who wish to pursue the management and economy of households, taking up creative careers like fashion designing and interior designing as well as use their knowledge of diet and lifestyle as a career path.

Eligibility

Eligibility: 10+2 with min. 45% marks for Gen/OBC/MIN and for SC/ST Students min. 40% marks from any recognized board. (PCB/PCBE/PCMB) Or Home Science mandatory at 10th Or 12th level with Arts/Commerce
